What are CVC Words?
CVC Words are words that follow the pattern consonant-vowel-consonant.
They are the simplest words and the starting point of many phonics programs (after studying letter sounds).
These words highlight the short vowels such as the a in cat, the e in bed, the I in fin, the o in top, and the u in sub.
Help your child learn CVC words by finding them hidden in a word search!

They can play in two modes:
Practice Mode - This mode is great for a child just learning CVC words.
They can hit the hint button to see the word they are looking.
Play Mode - This mode challenges your child by earning points for each correct answer.
Each level they complete gives them less time to find the word.
If they run out of time they have to start the level over.
Finish all five levels to win!
